Medicaid Redetermination and Renewal in Ohio

Annual Medicaid redeterminations resumed in Ohio in 2015 after a year-long suspension while the state implemented a new eligibility methodology and system.

So far, there have been numerous challenges to the redetermination process, resulting in low uptake by current Medicaid recipients and the loss of benefits.
